KOHIMA, AUG 26 (NPN): As part of its year long 25th anniversary jubilee celebrations, Faith Harvest Church organised a free medical camp at its premises on Wednesday.
A total of 530 patients registered for the medical check up, of whom 490 received consultations. Patients were provided free medical consultations and medicines, while prayer warriors offered prayers for those attending the camp.
The medical team comprised nine doctors, including general physicians Dr Akhrie, Dr John, Dr Akaba, Dr Nyanpong and Dr Akuo; dentists Dr Esther and Dr Yashitola; transfusion medicine specialist Dr Avila; and medicine specialist Dr Peter. The camp was also supported by three nurses, laboratory technician Achi Shijjio and a pharmacist.
As part of the year-long celebrations, church members have also been visiting widows, widowers and single parents in various colonies. Students of the church’s Bible school have been visiting shops in the vicinity of the church to offer prayers for the shopkeepers and their businesses.
The church stated that the activities formed part of its ongoing efforts to mark its 25 years of service and outreach to the community.
