Free medical camp at Medziphema

DIMAPUR: A free medical camp was conducted at Medziphema Town Council Hall on August 26, with the aim of making medical consultations accessible to the public and raising awareness on the importance of regular health check-ups.
According to a DIPR report, the camp was voluntarily organized by three doctors, Dr. M.K. Varechon, Medicine, Star Clinic Chümoukedima; Dr. Kavito Sumi, Paediatrician, R.K. Clinic, 6th Mile, Chümoukedima; and Dr. Hoboto Chishi, General Physician, Noble Care Clinic, Chümoukedima.
Conducted under the message “Good health, better life”, the programme witnessed participation from more than 100 patients who received free medical consultations. Free medicines were also distributed as part of the initiative.
The organisers expressed that the camp was intended to encourage the community to prioritize preventive healthcare and regular medical check-ups, thereby promoting better health outcomes.
