DIMAPUR, AUG 30 (NPN): The all-male contingent of Strike-Fit Academy Nagaland delivered a stellar performance at the National Club Championship in Muaythai, K-1, and Boxing, clinching a total of 14 medals – 10 gold, three silver and one bronze and securing the Overall Runners-Up Trophy.
The championship held from August 26 to 30 at NSRCC Stadium, Agartala, Tripura, was organised by the CDS Foundation in collaboration with the All Tripura Muaythai Association.
Adding to the team’s triumph, Pikato V. Awomi was adjudged the Best Fighter of the Championship after winning gold in the 54 kg Male Muaythai category.

Muaythai (Male): Gold – Aputo (48 kg), Pikato_V_Awomi (54 kg), Wapang_Ao (48 kg), Emtiramok Amri (63.5 kg), Phongmei_Phom (67 kg); Silver: Ikamu_Achumi (U-16, 45 kg).
K-1 (Male): Gold – Thronghokiu (U-16, 45 kg), Abhijit Das (52 kg), Huka_Ayemi (54 kg); Silver: Ravi_Kumar (60 kg), Dilsan_Mehra (71 kg).
Boxing (Male): Gold – Thungchanthung_R_Ezung (57 kg), Wonchithung_T_Kithan (63 kg); Bronze: Alexander_Phaomei (U-16, 57 kg).
The Strike-Fit Academy contingent was led by team coach Aboto Ayemi, with Moakumzük Longchar serving as team manager-cum-referee & judge and Hemavi Ayemi, founder of the academy, guiding the team’s journey.
