Governor gives assent to Bills

DIMAPUR: Secretary of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Khruohituonuo Rio, reported during the ninth session of the 14th NLA on September 1, 2026, that the Governor of Nagaland had given assent to the following Bills: The Nagaland Town and Country Planning (Fifth Amendment) Bill, 2025; The Nagaland Shops and Establishment (First Amendment) Bill, 2025; Nagaland Appropriation (No.1) Bill, 2026; Nagaland Appropriation (No.2) Bill, 2026; Nagaland Appropriation (No.3) Bill, 2026; Nagaland Appropriation (No.4) Bill, 2026; and the Nagaland Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Bill, 2026.
Deputy Chief Minister Yanthungo Patton also moved for the withdrawal of the Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority Bill, 2026, which had been introduced on March 26, 2026.
