DIMAPUR: Under the leadership of president Ritika Jain and project chairperson Isha Jain, the Lions Club of Dimapur (LCD) Elite, District 322D celebrated Rohit Mehta Lions Quest Week 2026 through a series of activities promoting social emotional learning, empathy, leadership and community service among students.
The week began at Pilgrim Higher Secondary School with the installation of the Blessing Box- Gratitude & Kindness Activity, encouraging students to donate toys, stationery, books, clothes and other useful items for children in need.
A major highlight was a panel discussion on “Stressed or Angry? Master Your Emotions,” featuring Pratik Dutta, founder of Aim Connect Education; Neeta Agarwal, Certified National Trainer; and Rashi Jain, Counselling Psychologist, moderated by Prerna Maheshwari, founder of Mind and Phonics.
The interactive session helped students understand emotional management, healthy communication and responsible digital behaviour.
Other activities included a debate competition on “Does Empathy Come Before Judgement?”; an anti bullying awareness session titled “Kindness Can Stop Bullying” by CA Swati Jain; a financial literacy session by Komal Jain; and team building games promoting cooperation and kindness.
The final two days were held at Dayanand Vidya Niketan, Purana Bazaar, where students participated in mindfulness and breathing sessions, a cleanliness drive and the handover of the Blessing Box. Donated items were presented to hostel children, reinforcing the spirit of gratitude and service.
The week concluded with students inspired to become compassionate, emotionally resilient and responsible citizens, reflecting the values of the Lions Quest programme.
