NHPS flags 12 hospitals over irregularities

DIMAPUR, SEP 3 (NPN): Nagaland Health Protection Society (NHPS) has informed that 12 hospitals have been flagged in connection with irregularities identified over the years under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and CM Health Insurance.
NHPS chief executive officer Thavaseelan K stated that out of 12 hospitals identified, 10 were empanelled government hospitals and two were empanelled private hospitals.
CEO said the society remained committed to ensuring transparency, accountability and strict adherence to the prescribed guidelines under both schemes.
He said that appropriate action was being taken in accordance with established policies and procedures to safeguard the interests of beneficiaries and ensure that the schemes continued to deliver quality and accessible healthcare services to the people of Nagaland.
