Auditions for Miss Wokha 2026 were conducted through online and offline modes, with the open audition held on Friday at Zumba Fitness Centre, WVBC Complex, below the DC Office, Wokha.
The online audition was held on September 3, with aspiring contestants required to submit two- to three-minute videos featuring their introduction and profile. During the offline audition, eight contestants from Wokha appeared before the selection panel for screening. Contestants from Kohima, Dimapur and Chümoukedima are also scheduled to participate in the selection process.
The contestants were assessed on various parameters, including introduction and speaking skills, confidence and presence, potential for growth, IQ, beauty and walk. The screening also evaluated communication skills, personality, stage presence, ability to respond to questions and overall presentation.
The auditions were organised by Glamorous Event Management in collaboration with the Lotha Eloe Hoho.
Following the screening, contestants will be shortlisted for the next stage. The shortlisted candidates are expected to be announced by September 11, while details of the subsequent stages will be announced later.
