DIMAPUR, SEP 6 (NPN): Dimapur has recorded the highest proportion of uncollectible Enumeration Forms (EFs) among Nagaland’s 17 election districts under Phase-III of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, with 22.74% of the forms remaining uncollectible as of 6 p.m. on September 6.
According to the status report released by the office of the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO), Nagaland, 28,581 EFs were uncollectible in Dimapur, followed by Chümoukedima at 11.98% (13,173 forms) and Peren at 8.08% (5,019 forms).
At the State level, 82,918 EFs, accounting for 6.11% of the total, were uncollectible. Meluri recorded the lowest rate at 1.12%, followed by Mon at 1.11%.
The report showed that 13,55,970 EFs had been distributed out of 13,57,208 electors across the State, achieving 99.91% coverage.
However, digitisation remained uneven across districts. Pughoboto recorded the highest digitisation rate at 95.34%, followed by Kiphire at 93.18%, while Chümoukedima recorded the lowest at 64.02%, followed by Dimapur at 68.98%.
Overall, 10,68,281 EFs, or 78.71%, had been digitised statewide.
As for online submissions, 946 EFs had been submitted by electors, with Dimapur recording the highest number at 371, followed by Peren with 192 and Chümoukedima with 125.
The draft electoral roll is scheduled to be published on September 20.
Electors will be able to file claims and objections until October 20, with disposal of the claims and objections scheduled by November 18 and final electoral roll slated for publication on November 22, 2026.
