DIMAPUR: The newly constructed Village Council Hall at Mollen was inaugurated by Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe, advisor, NSDMA and Inland Waterways, Government of Nagaland, on September 9, 2026, as the special guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Nyuthe expressed happiness over the timely completion and satisfactory workmanship of the project.
He stated that the hall was constructed under the Iconic Project of the Local Area Development Fund (LADF) for the financial year 2025 26, a DIPR report stated.
Emphasizing the significance of the facility, the advisor said the hall should serve not merely as a meeting place but as a “House of Justice” where village matters are discussed and judgments delivered fairly, impartially and in the larger interest of the community. He called upon Village Council members to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, unity and a spirit of service.
The inauguration marks an important milestone for the people of Mollen and is expected to strengthen the functioning of the Village Council while providing a suitable platform for community deliberations and peaceful resolution of local issues.
