The second edition of the Nagaland Influencers Summit (NIS) 2026 concluded on September 12 at Chümoukedima, celebrating creators and personalities contributing to Nagaland’s culture, creativity, community and social change. The event was held on September 11 and 12 at Tetso College, Sovima Campus, and Agri Expo, Chümoukedima, the summit brought together creators, artists, entrepreneurs, students, professionals and members of the public under the theme “Beyond Influence, Creating Change Together.”
The summit aimed to highlight the role of influence beyond social media reach and followers, with emphasis on creativity, responsibility, community engagement and meaningful contribution.
A major highlight was the Nagaland Influencers Awards 2026, which recognised individuals across various fields. The award winners were Kepozo Kapuh, Campus Choice Award; Tir YimYim, Media Integrity Award; Sammy Vlogs, Social Impact Award; Angule Mero, Emerging Talent Award; Chongpongmanen Ao, Cultural Excellence Award; O Jungio, Education Excellence Award; Tee.crochet (Chong.tie), Arts Excellence Award; Kohdi Jing Films, Cinematography Excellence Award; Thipuzo Kezo, Photography Excellence Award; Eva Rongmei, Music Excellence Award; Talitsuba Ao, Fitness Excellence Award; Tiamongba Ajem, Fashion Excellence Award; Rovi Metha, Entertainment Excellence Award; Roko VN Makeup, Beauty Excellence Award; Thsalongse Sangtam, Adventure Explorer Award and People’s Choice Award; and Mukaeats, Food Storytelling Award.
The People’s Choice Award was determined through public voting and jury evaluation, allowing audiences to participate in recognising a personality for their work and influence.
The two-day summit also featured panel discussions, workshops, creative activities, student engagement and networking opportunities. The Creators for Community Initiative brought creators and volunteers together for community-focused activities across different districts of Nagaland.
The organisers said NIS 2026 builds on the inaugural edition and aims to strengthen Nagaland’s growing creator ecosystem by encouraging collaboration, responsible influence and meaningful community impact.
