7th inter-school taekwondo c’ship in Dimapur

DIMAPUR, SEP 14 (NPN): The Dimapur District Taekwondo Association (DDTA) has announced that it will host the 7th Inter-School Kyurogi and 2nd Poomsae Taekwondo Championship 2026 on October 9 and 10, at the Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex (MDSC), Indoor Stadium, near DC Court Junction, Dimapur.
The championship is expected to bring together young athletes from various schools, clubs and academies across the district, showcasing their skills in both Kyurogi and Poomsae disciplines.
Dimapur District Taekwondo Association has requested all coaches and instructors of different institutions to get in touch with Working president DDTA, Heoshe Yeptho and organizing secretary DDTA, Sanjay Chetri, for further details regarding participation and coordination.
The association has also extended an open invitation to sports enthusiasts, parents and the general public to witness the event and encourage the players as they compete in this prestigious championship.
