DIMAPUR: An awareness and sensitisation programme on Legal Rights and Protection for Women and Children will be held on September 18 at Vamuzo Memorial Town Hall, Chozuba, at 11 a.m. The programme will be organised by the district administration of Phek under Mission Shakti, in collaboration with the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Phek, under the aegis of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India. ADC, Zapuno Khatso will deliver the keynote address, while Vileno K. Thisa, District Mission Coordinator, DHEW, will highlight schemes and programme components for women under Mission Shakti. Menu u Tsuhah, Centre Administrator, Sakhi One Stop Centre (OSC), Phek, will present the services provided by the OSC. A special number will be presented by Transcend Voice. Sekhotso Rokha, Retainer Lawyer, Phek DLSA, will deliver a lecture on the provisions of the POCSO Act, while Dr. Cthitu Nienu, Extra Assistant Commissioner, will chair the programme and deliver the closing remarks.
