2 killed at Diphupar

In another factional-related clash between the two NSCNs, two ‘GPRN/NSCN’ activists were killed early Wednesday morning at L Khel, Diphupar village, some 7-8 kilometers from Dimapur town.
According to police, two ‘GPRN/NSCN’ activists identified as ‘Capt’ Khuzheto of Kiyeto village and ‘Lt’ Hokiye Yeptho, son of Ikikhe Yeptho of Vihokhu village, were abducted and shot dead by rival faction Wednesday at Diphupar village around 6.15 a.m.
On the other hand, ‘GPRN/NSCN’ sources claim that three NSCN (I-M) activists were also killed in the clash – one on the spot and two others who succumbed to injuries in a hospital.
CFSB, NSCN (K), member Hokato Vusshe said some 14-15 NSCN (I-M) men abducted the two ‘GPRN/NSCN’ activists who were under treatment and later shot them dead near the house of ‘Maj’ Atoshe Chophi of ‘GPRN/NSCN.’ He also alleged that the NSCN (I-M) men entered ‘Maj’ Atoshe’s residence, who was not at home at the time of the incident, and threatened the family members besides ransacking the house.
Vusshe further alleged that the NSCN (I-M) activists led by ‘Maj’ Viyito shouted “We are Tangkhuls” before leaving the house.
