DIMAPUR: Tobacco products seized from shops located within 100 yards of educational institutions were destroyed during an enforcement activity in Dimapur.
The destruction was carried out in the presence of the National Tobacco Control team, ACP, Dobashis, Tenyimia Women Hoho Dimapur, and Watsü Telongjem Dimapur Unit.
The activity was conducted as part of ongoing efforts to enforce the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA), 2003, prevent access to tobacco products among students, and promote a tobacco free environment around educational institutions.
