PGSUK ultimatum to VC

Post Graduate Students Union, Nagaland University Campus Kohima (PGSUK) has served an ultimatum to vice chancellor, Nagaland University, Prof. K Kannan to resolve the various problems dogging the university within twenty four hours, failing which the students warned that they would take up their own course of action. PGSUK in a statement issued by president M Alei and general secretary Shevepa Vadeo, informed that the union had submitted a memorandum to the vice chancellor Wednesday afternoon, demanding immediate revocation of the suspension orders served to Dr. N. Venuh, Reader, History Department, and Rosemary Dziivichii, Lecturer, English Department.
The memorandum also demanded the vice chancellor’s intervention in the ongoing pen down strike of Nagaland University Non- Teaching Staff Association (NUNTSA).
