DIMAPUR: Liangmai Baptist Pastors Council Nagaland, under the Liangmai Baptist Association (LBA), held its 27th annual gathering at Liangmai Baptist Church, Jalukie B, from September 29-30, 2026, under the theme “Set Your House in Order.”
Coinciding with the annual gathering, a Pastors’ Retreat was organised on September 29 at Kuda Village Baptist Church, with Rev. Kenilevi Khate, Rev. Miazielie Sakhrie, and Shurhovilie Savino as resource persons. They imparted teachings on Discipleship, Goal Setting, Faith & Work, Doctrine of the Baptist, Pastoral Ministry, and Worship.
The resource persons emphasised that discipleship was a lifelong process of surrendering to Jesus, obeying His teachings, and helping others by bearing spiritual fruits and making more disciples. They encouraged pastors to adopt a biblical framework for goal setting, aligning personal and ministry objectives with God’s will, and stressed that goals serve as a map guiding believers toward God’s purpose.
On Faith and Work, they urged Christians to trust in God’s word, seek His daily guidance, and grow in inner peace through study of the Scriptures. They highlighted the benefits of strong faith, fellowship with believers, and pastoral support in strengthening spiritual walks.
The 27th Annual Meeting was sponsored and hosted by Jalukie B Baptist Church.
Kaininglung Zeliang, pastor and president of the Liangmai Baptist Pastors Council, expressed gratitude to Kuda Village Baptist Church for sponsoring the one day retreat and imparting valuable knowledge on Christian ministry, particularly pastoral ministry. He also acknowledged Jalukie B Baptist Church for sponsoring and hosting the annual gathering.
