Monthly coordination meeting held at Chiephobozou

DIMAPUR: The monthly coordination meeting was conducted on September 30, 2026 at the DB’s Court, Office of the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Chiephobozou.
Chairing the meeting, Vekusheyi Rhakho, ADC & Sub Divisional Census Officer, welcomed the members and informed that the main agenda was to deliberate on the preparation of the District Census Handbook (DCHB) as part of the ongoing Census 2027. He stated that during the preparation of the DCHB, appointed field functionaries would be required to obtain relevant data and information from various departments.
He further informed that departmental information and data must be provided separately for each village and town. Stressing the importance of the Census Handbook, Rhakho urged field functionaries to ensure entries are based on facts and figures, as the document would serve as a vital reference for future planning.
The meeting was attended by Heads of Offices, appointed field functionaries of Chiephobozou Urban and Rural, Botsa Charge institutions, and Town Councillors. The session also reviewed the instruction manual for the Village Directory, during which village functionaries interacted and clarified doubts with ADC Chiephobozou; Assistant Director, Census Office Kohima, Chuyalo Kath; EAC Chiephobozou, Viketoulie Metha; T. Tsikingmong, Senior Executive; and Kuraktsang K., Junior Executive from the Census Office, Kohima.
