NCPF on NU crisis

Nagaland College Principals’ Forum (NCPF) has expressed their concerned in the prolonged impasse prevailing between the vice chancellor vis-a-vis NUTA and NUNTSA. Stating in a release president NCFP and assistant secretary NCFP said “if this particular trend is allowed to continue in the highest spectrum of learning in Nagaland, the future of our budding generation will be completely shattered”.
It further added that the frequent disturbances in Nagaland University have already affected the educational system on a negative note which shall undoubtedly have a limping effect on the augmentation of quality education in Nagaland University, and also added that the NU has the history of strikes right from its inception. The union further noted that for the growth of quality education, peace and tranquility in the campuses are indispensable and pre requisites to make university an intellectual and a learner’s delight. The NCPF appealed to the concerned parties to desist from confrontational approach and apply positive minds to redress their difference through amicable dialogues and deliberations and urged them to dust off the controversies in order to bring congenial atmosphere for educational growth.
The union has also requested the visitor of Nagaland, the President of India and the Governor of Nagaland, the rector of NU to intervene in the prevailing situation in the University and restored normalcy for the good and welfare of the effected students. It further asserted.
