‘The Aesthetic Beauty Studio’ inaugurated at upper Chandmari

Dimapur, OCT 5: The Aesthetic Beauty Studio was inaugurated at Upper Chandmari, Kohima, on Monday, with a focus on providing beauty, wellness and aesthetic services in Nagaland.
According to a press release Advisor, Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Nagaland and MLA, Hekani Jakhalu Kense, graced the inaugural programme as special guest. Addressing the gathering, Kense encouraged the youth to take up entrepreneurship and create employment opportunities for others. She stressed the need for sound financial management from the beginning of a business, saying financial discipline was important for sustainable growth and long-term success.
She also emphasised the importance of keeping God as the foundation of every endeavour, along with faith, integrity, discipline and perseverance.
Proprietor of The Aesthetic Beauty Studio, Dr. Mengunuo, said the studio was established with a vision to bring Korean-inspired aesthetic treatments and international standards closer to people in Nagaland.
She said Korean aesthetics particularly inspired her for its focus on maintaining healthy, hydrated and radiant skin rather than seeking only immediate results. She added that the studio aims to provide professional care and quality treatments so that clients would not have to travel outside the State for similar services. Dr. Mengunuo said the studio does not promote instant transformations but focuses on understanding individual needs, selecting suitable treatments and maintaining overall skin health.
She further said the studio also aims to create employment opportunities and develop professional skills among young people in the beauty and wellness sector. She envisioned the studio as a platform for employment generation, knowledge sharing and training of aspiring beauty professionals.
The studio offers facials, skin rejuvenation, hair treatments, hydration therapies, laser treatments, brightening procedures and other invasive and non-invasive aesthetic treatments. It currently has six trained professionals working alongside Dr. Mengunuo, including a nail technician, eyelash technician, aesthetician and massage therapist.
The programme was chaired by Smt. Thenuso Yhome, while the studio was dedicated and blessed by Pastor Visato Yhoshu, Pastor, Union Baptist Church, Kohima. Mr. Neingutuo Rio delivered the closing remarks. The inauguration marks the entry of another beauty and wellness enterprise in Kohima, with the studio also seeking to contribute to employment generation and skill development in the sector.
