Alenpeter, Khiume crowned Mr & Miss Chümoukedima 2026

Alenpeter Yimchunger and Khiume Zaplu were crowned Mr and Miss Chümoukedima 2026 respectively at the grand finale organised by Meraki Entertainment Nagaland at Zone Niathu by the Park, Chümoukedima, on October 3.
According to a press release, in the Mr Chümoukedima category, Toloto Zhimomi was declared 1st Runner-up, followed by Imnayanger Longkumer as 2nd Runner-Up. In the Miss Chümoukedima category, Sarah Zhimomi secured the 1st Runner-Up title and Neivino Tsükru was named 2nd Runner-Up.
The pageant brought together young men and women from across the region, providing a platform to showcase confidence, personality, talent, fashion, culture and leadership.
The grand finale began with a welcome address by Meraki Entertainment Nagaland chairman Thritong Sangtam, who welcomed the guests, judges, sponsors, partners, contestants, families and audience.
The event featured performances by The Chemist Band, The Maple Tree, Kohjung Sangtam, Lenen Jamir, Yung Willy, Imtijong Jamir and Samuel. It was also attended by Annalia, founder of Annalia Beauty, and TS Gill, a culture, fashion and lifestyle enthusiast.
The special subtitle awards saw Toloto Zhimomi and Moarenla Lkr named Best Smile; Menevinuo Medoze and Bangso Khemprai, Best Ethnic Wear; Imnayanger Longkumer, Mr Popularity; Alumla Sangtam, Miss Queen of Heart; Toloto Zhimomi and Neivino Tsükru, Best Ramp Walk; Tongpangkokba Jamir and Selila Sangtam, Multimedia; Dyreal Phongnong Phom and Geganli Rufina, People’s Choice Award; and Marsosang Jamir and Alumla Sangtam, Best Reel Icon.
The contestants were groomed and choreographed by BIKEE Dutta, Mr Dimapur 2023, who prepared them for their finale presentations with emphasis on confidence, poise, stage presence and overall performance.
The event was presented by Kinwan Tea in collaboration with IWSN Training Centre. Zone Niathu by the Park was the Venue and Hospitality Partner, Keystone Coaching Centre the Education Partner, Nagaland College Media the Student Media Partner and Lisu Care the Beauty & Wellness Partner. Braces & Implants Dental Clinic and Dimapur Dental Centre were the Smile Partners.
Kimthaliu Panmei sponsored the Mr Popularity and Miss Queen of Heart subtitles, while EVRE and Spicy Corner were Event Partners. The Miss Chümoukedima title was sponsored by IWSN Training Centre, while Dentique Chümoukedima sponsored the 1st Runner-Up title. IWSN Training Centre also sponsored the crown, trophy and evening gown, while V.Movi Institute of Fashion Designing sponsored the casual designer wear.The programme was hosted by Ilo Zhimomi, Miss Chümoukedima 1st Runner-Up 2024, and Metila Sumi.
The judging panel comprised Miss Chümoukedima 2023 Neiketuno Sachii; Dr Nungtilong Longkumer; Dreams Unlimited director Tiakumzuk; Indian Chamber of Commerce for SC, ST & Women Entrepreneurship state general secretary Esther T. Ngullie; IWSN Training Centre managing director Azungla Imsong; Lipila Nail Studio founder and certified makeup artist Lipila Sangtam; and 4Front Event Management co-founder and chief judge Neitho Khamo.
The winners and participants received gift hampers sponsored by Anna Beauty Products and Lisu Care, along with a one-year free gym membership sponsored by Fear Fit Fitness, Chümoukedima.
The pageant aimed to provide young people with a platform to showcase their confidence, creativity, communication skills, individuality and leadership while celebrating beauty, fashion and talent.
Meraki Entertainment Nagaland expressed heartfelt gratitude to the sponsors, partners, judges, artists, production team, contestants, families, volunteers, media partners and audiences for their support in making the event a success.
