DIMAPUR: Kohima District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of October has been scheduled to be held on October 23, 2026, at 11 a.m. in the DPDB Conference Hall, Kohima.
All members of the Board have been requested to attend the meeting.
Meanwhile, the monthly DPDB meeting of Tseminyu district will be held on October 16, 2026, at 12 noon in the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Tseminyu. All members have been requested to attend the meeting positively.
WSH condoles demise of Kuchi Zeliang
DIMAPUR: Western Sumi Hoho (WSH) has expressed deep sorrow and profound grief at the untimely passing of Kuchi Zeliang, son of T.R. Zeliang, deputy chief minister of Nagaland.
In a condolence message, the WSH media cell described late Kuchi Zeliang as a humble soul, a kind hearted individual, and a dedicated leader who actively worked towards the upliftment and empowerment of youth. His dedication, warmth and service to society, it stated, make his passing a monumental loss not only for his community but for the Nagas as a whole.
WSH further conveyed its condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
