DEF Peren annual classification firing rescheduled from Oct 22

DIMAPUR: The Office of the Superintendent of Police, Peren, has informed that the Annual Classification Firing of District Executive Force (DEF) Peren, which was temporarily suspended in compliance with directives from the Police Headquarters (PHQ), has been restored and rescheduled from October 22 to 28, 2026.
In a notice, the office requested all concerned departments, village authorities and members of the public to take note of the revised schedule.
The authorities have also appealed to village residents not to enter the firing range area and to refrain from grazing cattle or collecting firewood within the firing range until further orders.
