Pre-SIR and post-SIR electoral strength, 2025–2026

NB: The 65,255 figure does not represent the final number of electors permanently deleted. It is based on the draft-stage SIR data.

Dimapur: The report explicitly refers to the draft electoral roll. It records 36,629 electors deleted, reducing the electorate from 1,25,703 in 2025 to 89,074 in the draft 2026 roll.
Chümoukedima: The figure of 28,626 refers to forms classified as “uncollectible” during enumeration. It is not necessarily a final deletion figure. The draft roll had 81,315 electors, but the number later rose to 82,334 after claims, objections and updates.
Combined figure: The 65,255 total is therefore a combination of 36,629 draft-roll deletions in Dimapur and 28,626 uncollectible cases in Chümoukedima.
The final number can only be established after the claims and objections process is completed and the final electoral rolls are published. Based on the reports provided, no final, district-wise deletion figures have yet been supplied.
