DIMAPUR: NPGN/NNC (T Ovung) has issued a clarification to all business establishments, commercial firms and the general public that an individual identified as Kavi has been illegally collecting taxes in the name of NPGN/NNC (T Ovung).
The organisation clarified that the collections were entirely unauthorised and carried out solely for the individual’s personal financial gain, without any accountability to the government.
It has therefore advised all concerned to not entertain, engage with or remit any form of taxation to the individual concerned. NPGN/NNC (T Ovung) warned that anyone doing so would be acting at their own risk and that the organisation would not be held responsible for any dealings conducted with unauthorised persons.
