Ao Senden to continue agitation until demands met

DIMAPUR, OCT 31 (NPN): Ao Senden on Saturday said it would not call off its agitation until all its demands were fulfilled.
In a letter to the commissioner and secretary, health and family welfare, submitted through the medical superintendent, Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH), Mokokchung, the Ao Senden vice president Aowati and general secretary Imtipokyim acknowledged the department’s order dated October 30, 2026, transferring and posting a radiologist to the hospital.
However, citing what it described as the department’s insincere actions in the recent past, the Senden said the agitation would continue until its remaining demands were met. Ao Senden reiterated its demand that all doctors and nurses attached to other institutions be reverted to IMDH.
It also called for all doctors and nurses transferred and posted to the hospital to submit their joining reports without delay.
The organisation said it would call off the agitation only after the attached personnel were reverted and all transferred and posted doctors and nurses submit their joining report at IMDH at the earliest.
