EDTC directs shops to keep NH stretch clean

DIMAPUR: East Dimapur Town Council (EDTC) has directed all shop owners and business establishments located along the National Highway stretch under its jurisdiction to maintain proper cleanliness and hygiene in front of their shops and surrounding areas.
In a press release, the council warned that failure to comply with the directive would invite penalties and necessary action. Meawhile, EDTC informed that Alemla Tovi, councillor of Ward No. 9, has been assigned as the in-charge to supervise and ensure strict compliance with the order.
