Restriction on vehicle movement along Asetkong-Tsüsangra road

DIMAPUR: Deputy Commissioner (DC), Mokokchung, has informed that in view of repair and restoration works on the Longpong Bridge along the Asetkong-Tsüsangra road at chainage 27.00 km, movement of heavy vehicles weighing above eight metric tonnes has been restricted along the route with immediate effect.
According to the notification, the repair and restoration works will be carried out from November 4 to December 2, 2026.
The DC further informed that movement of light vehicles along the affected stretch will remain restricted from November 4 to November 17, 2026.
The district administration has appealed to the public to cooperate and comply with the traffic regulations during the period of repair and restoration works.
