Meribeni Patton made her musical debut with the release of her first Lotha Tokhü Emong song, “Vami Tokhü (Pvüti Randan),” on November 1.
The song celebrates the cultural heritage, traditions and festive spirit of the Lotha community, reflecting the significance of Tokhü Emong through music.
The release programme was graced by Mhabeni K. Humtsoe of Khokthepvui Dimapur Lotha Eloe Ekhung as the chief guest.
The debut release marks the beginning of Patton’s musical journey, while highlighting her appreciation for Lotha culture and traditions. Through the song, she seeks to present the cultural identity and festive significance of the Lotha community through music.
