Fair Price Shops: A Christian responsibility to love our neighbour

Dear/Fair Price Shop Owners
We respect and appreciate your service in running Fair Price shops for the welfare of the people. However, for some, let this service not become merely a source of personal benefit or profit, but a genuine expression of Christian moral responsibility and love for our neighbours.
Every shop owner and concerned authority must ensure honesty, fairness, in distributing rice and other essential commodities, particularly to the beneficiaries. No individual should be deprived of their rightful share through dishonesty, discrimination, or unnecessary excuses.
As Christians, our responsibility is not merely to profess our faith but to practise it through justice, compassion, and integrity. From a Christian ethical perspective, fairness in food distribution is not merely a governmental obligation but a moral responsibility towards our neighbours.
Micah 6: 8 calls us to act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with God. Therefore, let our Fair Price Shops in Nagaland become witnesses of Christian love through fair distribution and faithful service to every neighbour.
