GBs not to collect tax

An emergency meeting of the Dimapur district administration with Dimapur District GBs Association/GBs Union Dimapur, DMC chairperson and deputy chairperson today unanimously decided that no GB of Dimapur district would henceforth collect tax for any underground faction. Dimapur DC, Maongwati Aier in a press statement said all the GBs should strictly adhere to government directives and act as responsible village/town chief since they were government agents directly appointed by the government of Nagaland.
