Homage to Late Zuheto

Hundreds of people from different walks of life attended the funeral service of former FGN general and DIG (Retd), BSF, late Zuheto K. Swu, here at the family residence Thilixu, 3rd Mile, on Thursday.
A host of speakers including Congress MLA KL Chishi, Independent MLA K Hollohon, former minister Ihezhe Zhimomi, Rev. Bizo, WSH president Hokiye Yepthomi, director (retd), School Education, Lozhevi, and former underground leaders Nitashe and ‘Gen’ Hokiye, paid tributes to late Zuheto and described him a “jewel among Sumi leaders.”
The funeral service began with invocation by pastor Thilixu Baptist Church, while executive secretary, WSBAK, Rev. Vitoshe pronounced benediction.
The body of late Zuheto was later taken to Satakha where another funeral service will be held Friday at 8 a.m.
Reports said villagers along the route to Satakha lined up the roads to pay their last respect to the departed leader.
