A host of organizations including the Mishilimi Village Council (MVC), Mishilimi Students Union(MKK), G.B. Association Pughoboto Sub-Division, Southern Sümi Students Union (SAKK), Pughoboto Town Students Union (PPKK), Mishilimi Union Kohima and Mishilimi Fellowship Nagaland have appealed for the safe release of Mughashe Wotsa, an ex-cadre of the NSCN (IM), who was abducted by unidentified gunmen on August 23 at around 8:30 p.m from his residence at Tinpati area. The seven organizations in a joint press release said that Wotsa was “discharged” on health grounds three years back. “We plead any organization that has Mughashe in their custody to kindly release him unharmed in the spirit of brotherhood amongst the Naga family at large and also plead all the Nagas to join hands in healing our society from such unhealthy practices which only worsen the rift of understanding” the statement pleaded. Killing does not fill any gap it only creates a vacuum in our society”.
