A 26-year-old woman was allegedly murdered by her husband with a spade at Thahekhu Block 7, Dimapur, Friday around 5 a.m. According to police, the husband identified as Kiyelho Sumi (34) and his wife Hokheli were quarreling when Kiyelho struck his wife on the head in a fit of rage. Hokheli who was rushed to Civil Hospital, later died in the hospital around 2 p.m. Based on a complaint filed by the deceased brother that Kiyelho used to frequently beat his wife, Diphupar police arrested the husband and registered a case.
