Governor P B Acharya: Nagaland governor P B Acharya has expressed sadness at the demise of Late Nokzenketba, former Minister of Nagaland on January 5 at Jorhat.
In a condolence message, governor said Late Nokzenketba served the people of Nagaland in various capacities as MLA, minister and deputy chairman of state planning Board, etc. and that he worked tirelessly for the upliftment of the public in general and his constituency Koridang in particular.
Stating that Late Nokzenketba was known for his straightforwardness, honesty and diligence, Acharya said his contributions for the welfare of the people particularly for the downtrodden would be remembered by all. He then added that the state has lost an honest public leader.
Further, the governor has conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed to the Almighty to give strength and courage to overcome the loss.
NLA Speaker: Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) has expressed shock at the sudden demise of Late L. Nokzenketba, former member of NLA on January 5 at Jorhat after prolonged illness.
In a condolence message, Nagaland Legislative Assembly Speaker Chotisuh Sazo said Late L. Nokzenketba son of late Longrinungba of Chungtia village was born on September 19, 1948. He was educated at Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung and was elected as member of NLA in 1964 from 28-Koridang Assembly Constituency as an Independent candidate and immediately joined Congress-I Party and appointed as Minister of State; re-elected member in 1987 and appointed as deputy chairman of state planning board.
In the general election held in January 1989, he was again elected and appointed as minister for agriculture.
The Speaker said Late L. Nokzenketba contributions as parliamentarian was kept in high esteem and that his death has caused a great loss to the Nagas in general and Ao community in particular.
In this hour of gloom and grief, Sazo on behalf of Nagaland Legislative Assembly and his own has expressed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed to God to grant solace and comfort to them and for the departed soul to rest in peace.
C.L. John: Minister for Rural Development (RD) & REPA, C.L.John has expressed shock over the untimely and sudden demise of former minister, late Nokzenketba on January 6.
In a condolence message, C.L .John stated that late Nokzenketba had represented 28 Koridang Assembly Constituency, under Mokkchung District, and subsequently elected for three terms in 1982, 1987 and 1989 respectively.
The minister described late Nokzenketba as sincere, hardworking and bonafide citizen as well as one of a competent public leader in his own capacity with kind heart, integrity and vast wisdom. 
It would therefore be very difficult to fill the vacuum caused by his premature death and his service to the Ao community in particular and to Nagas in general, added the minister.
The minister also stated that late Nokzenketba’s tireless voluntary services to society and individual would be heartily remembered by one and all. 
C.L.John further shared his deepest sorrow and sympathy with the bereaved family in the hour of grief and prays to our Almighty God to grant peace and solace to the departed soul. 
NPF s: Naga People’s Front (NPF) president, Dr, Shürhozelie Liezetsu and all rank and file of the NPF central Hqs has mourned at the demise of late Nokzenzeketba former MLA of 28 Koridang A/C, who passed away on January 6.
In a condolence message, NPF described late Nokzenzeketba as a “dedicated leader” who made valuable contributions, marking the tenure of his legislature-ship under different capacities.
He said late Nokzenzeketba was also in the council of ministers when regionalist stalwart, late Vamuzo was the chief minister in the late nineteen eighties.
NPF further conveyed condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
NAPO: Northern Angami Public Organization (NAPO) has expressed shock at the sudden demise of present vice president NAPO, Sosielhou Tsira on January 4at Chedema.
Northern Angami Public Organization described Late Sosielhou Tsira as a dedicated, sincere and a true social leader adding that it has a good leader.
In this hour of bereavement, NAPO has conveyed sincere prayers and condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that almighty God would rest the departed soul in eternal peace.
