Power deptt informs of load-shedding in Kma

Power department has informed that due to overloading of 24 MVA, 132/33 kV transformer at Kohima sub-station, a coordinated load shedding would be imposed in and around Kohima town and outskirts during the Hornbill Festival from December 1-10. This was to facilitate power supply requirements to various activities and events of the festival, EE transmission division Kohima, stated in a press note. EE said power supply to the 33kV and 11 kV feeders would also be regulated on a one-hourly basis daily subject to exigencies. Load shedding time for feeder 11 kV Bara Bosti (from ITI S/S) is from 3.30 to 4.30 pm; feeder 11 kV Bazaar feeder from 4.30 to 5.30 pm; feeder 33 kV Botsa, Lalmati, Chakhabama from 5.30 to 6.30 pm and alternate days from 6.30 to 7.30 pm; 11 kV Lerie local feeders from 7.30 to 8.30 pm; feeder 11kV Science college, Paramedical from 6.30 to 7.30 pm  and on alternate days from 5.30 to 6.30 pm and Zubza feeders from 7.30 to 8.30 pm.
