Training on the importance of minerals, vitamins and deworming in Pigs was conducted by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Mokokchung on November 25 at Salulamang village, Mokokchung.
In the programme, resource person, SMS (animal science) Krishi Vigyan Kendra Mokokchung, Dr Rongsen taught the farmers the role of minerals and vitamins for producing healthy pigs.
He also trained the farmers on the importance of timely dewroming of pigs so as to maximize productivity.
During interaction session problems were discussed and recommendations and solutions were provided by the resource person.
Altogether 30 pig farmers participated in the training. All the farmers were provided mineral mixture and deworming agents.
The programme concluded with vote of thanks proposed by SMS KVK Mokokchung, Samuel.
