RALOA to approach Centre over railway land dispute

DIMAPUR

Railway Affected Landowners’ Association (RALOA) has issued a public notification addressing unregistered landowners whose lands or properties lie adjacent to the railway track between Sangtamtilla village and Niu Colony — a stretch covering approximately 8 kilometres.
In a press release, RALOA general secretary (Admin & Media Cell) Y. Hetokhu Awomi informed that the association unanimously resolved to send a delegation, comprising senior advisors and executive members, to Delhi to submit a representation to the Union Railway minister and of Railway Board of India.RALOA further stated that it has designated representatives in each sector, colony, and village under question according to the convenience. In this regard, the landowners have been asked to extend full cooperation, by registering and making necessary contribution fixed by the association, through their representatives or the website.
