One day Financial Literacy Camp (FLC) supported under FIF managed by NABARD was conducted on June 27 at Longjang compound.
The camp was organized by Care and Support Society (CSS), Mokokchung in collaboration with Nagaland State Cooperative Bank Ltd. and sponsored by NABARD to promote the cause of financial literacy/inclusion.
During the programme, DDM, NABARD, S. Amarjit Mangang informed the villagers about the objectives and significance of financial inclusion.
He highlighted the role played by NABARD in financial inclusion programme and further shared in detail the farmers club, SHG & JLG programme and role of NABARD in creating infrastructure in the district.
Assistant manager & in charged FLC, NSCB Ltd, Mokokchung, Temsulepden also shared the importance of banking, savings, financial planning. He also informed various financial services offered by the banks for the general public. He further highlighted PMJDY, PMSBY, PMJJBY and APY in detail.
Earlier the programme was chaired by managing director CSS, Imchawati Kichu while welcome address was delivered by pastor in-charge Longjang compound Baptist church, Temsu.
