SVSU, RMSA contractor settle issue

Seyochung Village Students’ Union (SVSU) has withdrawn the FIR lodged against the contractor of Rashtriya Madhyamik Shisha Abhiyan (RMSA) Nagaland which was filed on June 17 at Police station Kiphire. 
This settlement has arrived after the RMSA contractor (M/s. Khedi Development Agency) and SVSU held a joint sitting at Seyochung village.  In the meeting, RMSA contractor has given an assurance to start constructing the high school building beginning by July 1, 2016 and to complete the same within one year. 
The contractor also assured to construct as per the government specification norms for the building construction and the remaining payment to seek after obtaining clearance certificate from the village council and VEC.  Basing on the assurance given, the SVSU had agreed to withdraw the FIR lodged at Kiphire police station. The undertaking was signed by president SVSU, K. Chumseli and on behalf of the M/s Khedi Development Agency, Along.
