
Bethesda Hr. Sec. School (BHSS) organised a science exhibition of working models and projects developed by the students from classes LKG to 12 on November 5 at the school’s new campus.
The exhibition was inaugurated by additional commissioner of taxes, Dimapur, Y. Mhathung Murry. Speaking at the inaugural function, he emphasized on the need of awareness of the deteriorating physical environment. Science mindedness is essential to face the challenges today, he added.
The exhibits cut across the academic subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Astrology and Geography. Students exhibited their creativity and talents in manipulating the materials to project scientific principles.
Inculcating creativity and manipulation of locally available materials to produce useful things enhanced aesthetic sense. Craft items and flower arrangements were also exhibited. Over 100 major and minor projects were showcased by the students. Earlier, at the function Rev. Moses Murry invoked God’s presence.
