Department of Sericulture conducted training on Eri silk weaving at Reeling and Twisting Unit, Dimapur from September 5-30 with weaver Maisodi as resource person and extension officer Mayangjala Walling, as training observer.
At the inaugural program, district sericulture officer Dimapur, Yashimeren welcomed the trainees and encouraged them to learn and perfect their weaving skills so they could use it to improve their livelihood and also impart their knowledge to people back in their communities.
Altogether four trainees from Tuensang attended the program.
