Dimapur police on Saturday issued security alert to citizens in view of the nationwide alert sounded by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) following surgical strikes across the Line of Control (LoC).
In a press note, Addl. DCP & PRO, said there were apprehensions of sabotage activities by anti-national elements, wherein citizens have been requested to be vigilant of unattended baggage lying in public places, suspicious items found along roadsides, un-attended vehicles kept parked in suspicious manner, new unknown habitants seen in the wards/colonies etc. In the event of any suspicious items being found, police has asked citizens to inform the police immediately– Police Control Room at 7085055050 or the nearest Police Station or Police Patrol.
