Nagaland Governor, P.B. Acharya has condoled the demise of a prominent citizen of Dimapur and former general secretary of Indian Red Cross Society Nagaland (IRCSN) state branch, Zakielietuo (Zakie) Kire on September 29.
Late Z. Kire was also a former member of Dimapur Town Committee and member of the managing committee, IRCSN state branch till his demise.
Acharya, in a condolence message, expressed deep grieve over the demise of Zakielietuo Kire, due to illness. He was an active social worker and prominent business man, he said.
He said late Zakielietuo Kire, who was the general secretary of IRCSN state branch for six years till 2014, had immensely contributed for the uplift of the poor and needy people of Nagaland.
In this hour of grief and sorrow, Acharya conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray to the Almighty that departed soul may rest in peace. According to family sources, the funeral service would be held at his residence in Khriehulie colony, Kuda C Khel, Kuda village at 10 a.m. on September 30, 2016.
SI Jamir: Advisor to CM & Urban Development, S.I. Jamir has expressed deep grief over the untimely demise of Zakielietuo Kire, former member Dimapur Town Committee and general secretary of IRCSN.
Jamir described late Zakie as a selfless person, who had contributed immensely for the weaker section of the society. He said late Zakie was a towering pillar of the IRCSN, under whose guidance various noble initiatives were carried out. Jamir conveyed deep condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace.
Temsunungsang Yaden passes away: Meanwhile, retired director of Soil & Water Conservation, Temsunungsang Yaden, passed away on September 29, 2016 after a brief illness at Guwahati. The funeral service would be held at his residence at AG Colony Kohima on September 30 at 9 a.m.
