The original musical, ‘A Winter Night’s Dream’ captivated audiences on March 7 and 8 at RCEMPA, Jotsoma-Kohima. Over two evenings, the production drew strong crowds and left many deeply moved by its powerful storytelling, evocative music, and performances.
Based on the beloved Sumi Naga folktale Nisapa and Nisala, the musical reimagined the timeless story of forbidden love, longing, loss, and redemption. While rooted in cultural tradition, the production brought fresh life to the tale through a seamless blend of drama, music, and choreography.
