Ato Area GBs Association (AAGBA) consisting of 11 villages under Ato area, EAC HQ Nihokhu held its general meeting on March 9 at the resident of its banker Kughato head GB H. Khehoyi village under the chairmanship of AAGBA G. Shikavi Zhimo wherein various important issues were deliberated.
Secretary K.Hokishe Jimo and chairman G. Shikavi Zhimo in a press release said that with regard to resolution no. 5, it was decided that the Ato Area GBs Association would not consider the wilful transfer of teachers as well as cross transfer of teachers without obtaining No Objection certificate (NOC) from the school management committee (SMC) or village education committee which was mandatory as per the norms of the communitization as the government had fully empowered the SMC to control and issue NOC.
The Ato Area GBs Association appealed that the concerned officials of the school education department to not transfer any staffs without NOC from SMC/VEC.
