AASU General Conference concludes

The Aqahuto Area Students’ Union’s (AASU’s) 39th general conference, which commenced on January 4 under the theme “Envisioning Excellence”, hosted by Shokhuvi Village Students’ Union, concluded on January 6.

A press release issued by All Sumi Students’ Union (SKK) stated that the special guest, SKK president, Atokiho Sumi, opined that students were the assets of tomorrow. He urged the students to equip themselves to face any kind of challenges. Atokiho also encouraged students to work hard and compete in the various competitive examinations.

Speaking to student leaders of Dhansripar sub-division, Atokiho encouraged them to coordinate with one another and become ambassadors of building healthy relationships and contribute positive things to society.

President and colleagues of Dimasa Students’ Union Nagaland, president and colleagues of Urra Village Students’ Union, president of Doyapur Village Students’ Union and president of Amaluma Village Students’s Union accompanied the special guest to the program.

Earlier, the invocation was offered by Rev. Ihokhe Yeptho. Vihuto Village Students’ Union gave a special presentation; Rev Shikaho Aye prayed blessings upon the students, vote of thanks was delivered by finance secretary, Hukavi Aye and benediction was offered by Dr. Vitoi Rochill.
