A two week intensive music training programme was organised by Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) music ministry from May 19 to 31, at Impur. The training provided a strong platform for equipping church members with both technical and theological foundations in music, demonstrating the ministry’s commitment to continuity and growth.
According to a press release, the training covered a wide range of areas essential for both church and community music development, including music history, music theory, ear training, conducting, vocals, and music and theology.
A total of 28 members from 16 churches participated in the programme, reflecting the growing interest and commitment of the Ao Baptist Churches to strengthen its musical foundation for worship and ministry.
The sessions were enriched by Khrienyühu Dzüvichü, Rev. Dr. Akok Amer, pastor, Impur Baptist Church, and Asenla Longchar, music coordinator, ABAM, whose guidance provided participants with both technical skills and theological insights. Their teaching equipped the trainees to serve more effectively in their respective churches, blending musical excellence with spiritual depth.
