ABAM Social Concern organized a one-day Seminar on “trending social issues” for ABAM Zone 8 and 9 at Padum Pukhuri Ao Baptist Church on April 4, 2025.
According to officiating executive secretary, ABAM, Rev. L. Yapang Mollierm, the seminar focused on two of the most pressing social issues: Mental health and Homosexuality.
By highlighting these critical topics, the event aimed to foster awareness and understanding within the community, sparking essential conversations that can lead to positive change.
The seminar was designed for the full-time staff of the church, who play a crucial role in providing support and care to those in need. The seminar featured two distinguished speakers: Dr. Watinaro, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Psychology and Counselling at St. Joseph University, and Inatoli Choppy, Director of Guardian Angel in Dimapur. Altogether, 70 dedicated full-time workers from 23 churches gathered for the seminar, reflecting their shared commitment to service and growth.
Meanwhile, ABAM extended gratitude to Padum Pukhuri Ao Baptist Arogo for hosting the impactful program and prayed for God’s abundant blessings.
