The third orientation course for full-time church leaders under the aegis of the Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM), was organised by ABAM Church and Mission at Impur from April 25–29.
In a press release, ABAM executive secretary, Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener said that having learned the theoretical framework of the ministry in different institutions, the need for holistic exploration of the ministry for new leaders of the church became inevitable.
Rev. Dr. Mar informed that the course was designed keeping this in mind.
Some of the key objectives for the course included—availing them of the practical implications of the ministry, exploring uniformity in ministerial patterns, having a better understanding of ministerial perspective of ABAM and local churches and maintain doctrinal consistencies in all the churches.
The programme was held with eight speakers.
Altogether, 77 full-time church leaders from 31 churches attended the course. The participants were also conferred with certificates from the Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang.
