ABAM women ministry holds 7th Triennial Conference

The three-day 7th Triennial conference of ABAM Women Ministry concluded on September 3 at Impur.
The conference was held on the theme, “Women today a hope for tomorrow’”(Ezekiel 17:22-24) under the leadership of secretary ABAM women ministry, Alemla Mozür.


Speakers for the worship services were executive secretary, ABAM, Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener, asso. professor of Christian History, OTS, Dr. Sahinungla Pongen and Asso. Pastor Mangkolemba, L.Watinaro.
Topics on “women’s health, Social Media, Homosexuality, Mental Health, Self-reliance, and food safety” were covered at the workshop section.


Resource persons for the workshop were: Senior Specialist (Obs & Gyne) IMDH, Dr. Süpongmeren; reader, SCERT Nagaland, Benjungdenla Yaden; APW, Süngkomen BC, Imtimenla Aier; Dist. Mission Coordinator Dist. Hub for Empowerment of Women, Mokokchung, Moamenla Longkümer; proprietor, Longpok Holdings, Tsükti Longkümer and Ass. Food Safety Commissioner DHFW, Kohima, Sendongkaba Jamir.


Altogether, 1160 delegates from 160 churches under the constituent of ABAM attended the conference. This was informed in a press release issued by executive secretary, ABAM, Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener.
